🤝 Partnering with Baroody Project & Program Providers
Together, we strive to remove financial barriers and open doors to new opportunities.
💬 What We Offer
📅 When & How to Apply
Financial aid requests must be submitted using the designated financial aid registration button during the designated financial aid registration period.
π Please Note: The financial aid registration period ends earlier than the general registration period. Families can register late for financial aid but spots may already be filled.
π Financial aid is awarded per session (one class per child), and families must reapply during each session’s designated registration window.
🎯 What Happens Next
After the financial aid registration period closes, we will review all requests. A lottery will be conducted for spots available if there is more demand than spots available in high demand classes. We recommend families indicate 2nd/3rd choices. While we will make every effort to place students in their 1st choice class, 2nd and 3rd choices may be used depending on availability.
If you are awarded financial aid: You will receive confirmation of your acceptance and class placement before the general registration period ends. No further action is required unless your school requires a reduced class fee or if we need additional information from you.
If you are not awarded financial aid: You will be notified and will have the option to register using the general registration link at the regular rate, or be placed on a financial aid waitlist in case a financial aid spot becomes available.
β Who Qualifies?
Financial Aid is available for children enrolled in our network of partner schools who are enrolled in a qualifying public assistance program.
You may apply for a financial if your child receives benefits from any of the following programs:
Medicaid
Free Lunch through the local County School System
SNAP (Food Stamps)
TANF (Temporary Assistance for Needy Families)
WIC (Women, Infants & Children Program)
Head Start
FAMIS (Family Access to Medical Insurance Security)
📄 Verifying Eligibility (No Documentation Required)
To help us verify financial aid eligibility, families are required to certify that their child receives one of the qualifying forms of public assistance.
You do not need to submit documentation, but if you are able to provide a letter from the agency confirming eligibility, it can help us process your request more efficiently.
If you choose to include a letter with your financial aid request, please email it to [email protected]. It should include:
The name of your child (the financial aid recipient)
The eligibility dates for the benefit
The name of the public assistance program
π At the time of registration, you will be asked to complete a brief waiver to certify that your child currently receives qualifying public assistance. Parent/guardian certification is sufficient to be considered for financial aid.
We understand not all families will have access to documentation, and no one will be denied consideration based on a lack of paperwork.
β What happens if Iβm requesting more than one class?
If you request more than one class and your family qualifies for financial aid, Baroody Camps will approve one class per child for financial aid.
To join an additional class, families can register through the general registration link to pay the full class fee π³ or email [email protected] for help registering or setting up a payment plan π€.
💬 What if I donβt qualify but still need help?
We understand that not all financial challenges are reflected in public assistance programs.
If your family is experiencing a temporary hardship or unique circumstance (such as job loss, medical bills, or housing instability), you are still encouraged to apply for financial aid.
Families must submit a separate request briefly describing your situation. We will review each request with care and confidentiality.
🔐 Privacy & Confidentiality
We treat all financial aid information and any submitted documentation with the utmost care, confidentiality, and respect. Any materials you choose to share are:
Used only to assess financial aid eligibility
Viewed only by a limited team responsible for financial aid review
Stored securely, if saved, and never shared outside the organization
No family will be denied consideration for lack of documentation, and all information—whether submitted or self certified—is handled with sensitivity and trust.
