Description

Join us this Winter as we explore the exciting world of Pop Art! Learn about how these famous Pop Art Icons changed the world of art by using repetition and bold ideas! In this class you’ll create pinch Yayoi Kusama flower bowls, Keith Haring gingerbread people and pop art food sculptures! You will hand build pottery from start to finish and even get a chance to glaze your own pottery. Our materials are professional grade stoneware and get fired in our kiln making the pieces both beautiful and functional!

We will utilize stoneware clay, air hardening clay as well as modeling clay to create a portfolio you’ll cherish. Class will culminate in an end of the year art show giving students a real taste of what real artist life is like. Ready to explore? Let’s get muddy!
